Meet The Newly Sworn-In Oyo APC Woman Leader, Dr Felicia Adekemi Opatunde
As She Leads the Charge for Stronger Women Participation, Party Unity Across Oyo State.
Dr. Adekemi Felicia Opatunde, APC Woman Leader for Oyo State, is a dedicated educationist with a strong passion for transforming lives. With a Ph.D in Educational Management, she has built a career in education, serving as Senior Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor, and advocating for community development and women’s empowerment.
Notably, Opatunde’s tenure was marked by collaboration with visionary leaders who prioritised peace, ensuring safety of lives and properties – a fundamental government responsibility.
Opatunde has empowered 120 women and 20 youth corpers with vocational training and financial support. Her vision for Oyo State focuses on “Building a Better Oyo” through Welfarism, Inclusiveness, and Service, ensuring citizens’ voices are heard and participation in decision-making.
Dr. Opatunde believes women play a vital role in shaping governance and rebuilding lives.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Opatunde is committed to serving Oyo State with integrity and dedication.
Dr(Mrs) Opatunde is married to Engineer Olugbenga Anthony Opatunde.
