I am not a greenhorn in Nigeria’s body polity.Rather,I have been an active participant for quite some years back,both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.In retrospect, I have been a strong advocate of better governance through the equitable distribution of dividends of democracy.This is predicated on my belief that constitutional democracy means service to the people who entrust the leaders with their votes.Up till now, I am a strong loyalist of President Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwolu and other leaders in the progressive domain of politics.It is always my pleasure to be counted among the people who have contributed immensely to the serial successes as recorded by our great party, APC,at the successive election cycles, both in Lagos and Nigeria respectively.

Asides,I am inclined to assert that I have a strong passion for assisting the less privileged in our communities through philanthropic gestures.This has prompted my initiative to establish a foundation.Therefore, “OLAMIDE JUNAID FOUNDATION” had impacted positively on the citizens through the empowerment programmes like Health care services, Education, Distribution of food items and allied welfare needs for the benefits of Nigerians and other African states like Kenya and Uganda,just to mention a few.

Charity begins at home,so says an adage.I am a native of Ibadan.I hail from Alaaka compound of Inalende in Ibadan North LGA,ward 02 to be precise.This has actually encouraged me to shift my centres of political and philanthropic operations to Ibadan land.Thus far,I have been doing my best towards assisting the less privileged as usual.I wish to place on record that my foundation has completed two cycles of empowerment programmes for the benefits of Ibadan North constituents,Viz; distribution of assorted food items,medical outreach and distribution of educational materials, within this year.

At this juncture, I wish commiserate with all the citizens of Ibadan North LGA on the sudden and unfortunate death of Hon .Musiliu Olaide Akinremi.May his soul rest in peace, Amen.I pray that God gives his family and political caucus fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.Meawhile,Late Hon.Musiliu Olaide Akinremi had written his name on the sands of time.He served the constituents meritoriously.His good deeds remains unprecedented in our annals of political services in Ibadan North federal constituency and beyond.In this circumstance,I wish to offer myself as a suitable replacement who has the capacity and goodwill to replicate Late Hon.Akinremi’s servitude to the good citizens of Ibadan North LGA.In addition,I have the political and financial wherewithal of sustaining his enviable legacy.In the coming weeks,my foundation shall embark on the implementation of certain empowerment programmes via the distribution of essential food items, distribution of educational materials, medical outreach and cash donations for the needy,just for the benefits of the constituents.

Of significance,I shall enlist the support of foreign partners from the developed states of the world like United Kingdom,U.S.A. and Germany to better the lots of our people.To round off,I wish to avail this unique opportunity to solicit for the patience of Nigerians as regards the economic and social reforms of PBAT.Sooner than later,the benefits shall come in torrents for our enjoyment and relief.

Also, I wish to call on all the members of our great party, APC,to remain united and focus on strategies of winning the forthcoming bye elections in our constituency.
