NANS: Alli Egbesola Congratulates President Elect, Asefon Sunday, Appreciates Supporters.

A former aspirant in the recently concluded convention of National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS), Comrade Alli Egbesola has congratulated the association’s President-elect, Comrade Asefon Sunday over his victory as the helmsman of the largest student body in Africa.

“Mr. President Sir ! Comrade Asefon Sunday, congratulations to you on your resounding victory and I wish you itch free – tenure in office”, Former NANS Vice President(External Affairs), Egbesola greeted.

The National Coordinator of Think Nigeria Solidarity Movement(TNSM), Egbesola’s speech goes thus:

The Beginning of A New Era.

‘Whenever You Find Yourself Doubting How Far You Can Go, Just Remember How Far You Have Come. Remember Everything You Have Faced, All The Battles You Have Won, And All The Fears You Have Overcome.’

And of the greatest Nigerian Students!!!

Our interest for aspiring as President, National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS) in 2020 NANS National Convention was not accidental or selfish, so if this was not achieved directly as we wished or planed, Alas! We are not a failure but an achiever for making an attempt to achieve it.

On behalf of myself and Team ALLI EGBESOLA 4 NANS National PRESIDENT, we appreciate everybody who has supported the agenda from day one till we followed it to a logical conclusion.

Those that were physically, spiritually, intellectually, influentially and financially involved, we say Nagode.

We will always be grateful to you. Thank you mostly for being there for us and we feel honoured.

Let me use this medium to congratulate the President-elect of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) , Com. Asefon Sunday Dayo, it is a well deserved victory. You worked for it, You prayed on it and God crown your effort. As you are now the one in charge of making decisions for over forty one million and one Nigerian Students at home and in diasporas.

Our prayer for you is that God that gives you opportunity to start well will support you to end well.

Yes, this is a beginning of a new era for you and in NANS.

In life, there is only one destiny maker(God) and destiny helpers(supporters).

God is the one that made it happened and those that God used to make it happened are our leaders who have been doing this in youth and student movements, they are leaders who are breeding leaders . Sirs, you are worthy of emulation; Agbabiaka Hammed(Agba) is our leader, Oluwaseun Abosede(Safety) is our leader, Adeyemo Monsuru(Socrates) is our leader, Ige Ebenezer is our leader, Clement Olusegun is our leader, Arowolo Ifeoluwa (Arobanti) is our leader and their trusted allies are our leaders.

These are the “Gees” that are shaking ground and making things happened, Gee something! Gee everything.

May God give you all what it takes to be leading us well. Yes, this is a beginning of a new era for you all and for us all.

It is not a gainsaying, I’m not a victim of circumstances or product of accidents but an active participant in the past events , of course , I am a part and parcel of the system.

Having served at different levels of activities in student movement up till the position of Vice President(External Affairs) of this our noble association, NANS, I can say it boldly that it is not joke, “Walai no be waasa”, so if we don’t get the position of number one student in Nigeria as the fate would have it, sincerely we are not a failure. Yes, it is also a beginning of a new era to me too, “Ishola Egbesola Omo Olawuyi, I am going places. I never lose any thing but I learn more.

Let this be on the note that we are advancing in our endeavors in life, NANS is our bedrock of leadership training, I can never forget this association and all that I learnt from it. I love the association, if life still have me again in Nigeria, I will still wish to be an active member of this association.

Firstly and Lastly, I will be an ingrate if I refuse to thank God for where I was before and where I am going to, all I see is a brighter future.

May God answer all my prayers. Yes, this a new beginning of new Era for me and you all.

Thanks ,

Sulaimon Alli Egbesola,
Former Presidential Aspirant,
NANS National 2020 “.
