NANS CONVENTION-2026: Ondo Stakeholders, Senators Endorse Babtee as NANS Nat’l President

The stakeholders of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), alongside the leadership of the Joint Campus Committee (JCC) and Student Union Government presidents in Ondo State, have unanimously endorsed Comr Akinteye Babatunde Afeez (BABTEE) for the position of national president of the association at the forthcoming convention.

This endorsement follows BABTEE’s address at the stakeholders’ meeting, where he paid homage and emphasised that he could not officially declare his candidacy without first seeking the blessings and support of his home state. After extensive consultations and a critical evaluation of competence, experience, leadership capacity, and staunch commitment to the ideals of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), the stakeholders unanimously resolved to throw their full weight behind BABTEE’s presidential ambition.

Furthermore, it was reiterated that BABTEE’s years of active and passionate service, principled leadership, and consistent advocacy for students’ welfare have earned him wide acceptance and credibility across the country. His track record and pedigree speak for him; his humility, capacity, ability to reconcile and unify, and strong character position him as the best fit to lead the association at this critical time.

The Ondo NANS stakeholders, therefore, call on all well-meaning student leaders, senators, and stakeholders nationwide to support this noble project as we collectively work toward strengthening the unity, sovereignty, and progress of our dear association.
