NANS President, Oladoja Congratulates Barr Seyi Tinubu on Chieftancy Title Conferment As ‘Okanlomo of Yorubaland’
President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Olushola Oladoja, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Barr. Seyi Tinubu on his conferment as Okanlomon of Yorubaland.
The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade, is set to install Seyi, the son of President Bola Tinubu, as the “Okanlomo of Yorubaland” tomorrow, Sunday.
Okanlomo of Yorubaland” is a prestigious Yoruba title meaning “the one dear to the hearts of all Yoruba people” or “beloved child”, signifying deep affection and importance to the race.
In a statement released by the organisation’s president, Oladoja highlighted that this prestigious recognition reflects Barr. Tinubu’s significant contributions to youth development and social empowerment, as well as his steadfast commitment to the advancement of the Yoruba nation and Nigeria as a whole.
The statement continued, “We celebrate this milestone and wish you continued wisdom, strength, and greater impact in service to humanity.
The association expressed enthusiasm for Barr. Tinubu’s future endeavours and the positive influence he is expected to maintain within and beyond Yoruba Land.
This honour marks a significant achievement in Barr. Tinubu’s career and underscores the vital role of leadership in driving progress.
