NANS President, Sec-Gen Receive ‘Authentic’ CPC List from Senate President

Comrade Usman Umar Barambu, the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), and National Secretary General of the association, Comrade Usman Baba Kankia, have received the authentic convention planning committee list from Senate President Comrade Felix Attah at a ceremony held at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Abuja on September 19, 2023.

The Convention Planning Committee, led by Senate President of NANS, Comrade Attah Nnalue Felix, has been entrusted with the responsibility of organizing the upcoming NANS Convention. The convention will bring together student leaders from across the nation to deliberate on critical issues affecting the Nigerian education system and to chart a path towards positive change.

Comrade Usman Barambu expressed his gratitude to the Senate President for his dedication and commitment to ensuring a transparent and well-organized CPC members. He emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among student leaders to address the challenges faced by Nigerian students and to advocate for their rights and welfare.

The National Secretary General COMR. Usman Baba Kankia also expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to receive the authentic convention planning committee list. He highlighted the significance of the convention in providing a platform for student leaders to deliberate on critical issues affecting the Nigerian education system and to chart a path towards positive change.

Senate President, Felix Attah emphasized the importance of youth empowerment and the role of students in shaping the future of Nigeria. He assured the the entire NANS leadership of his support and pledged to work closely with the leadership to ensure a successful convention that reflects the aspirations and concerns of Nigerian students.

The authentic convention planning committee list received by Comrade Usman Barambu and National Secretary General COMR. Usman Baba Kankia will serve as a crucial foundation for the planning and execution of the NANS Convention. It will guide the selection of committee members, the development of the convention program, and the coordination of various activities.

NANS, as the apex student body in Nigeria, remains committed to promoting the welfare and interests of Nigerian students. The upcoming convention will provide an opportunity for students to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange ideas, and contribute to the development of the nation.
