NAPAIS Salutes President Tinubu over Revitalisation of Nat’l Almajiri, Out-of-School Children Commission, Lauds Initiative

The National Association of Proprietors of Arabic and Islamic Schools, NAPAIS, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for retaining and strengthening the National Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Commission, describing the initiative as a good step to resolve the problem of underprivileged education in the country.

A joint press release from the National Secretariat, Iwo-Road, Ibadan, signed by the NAPAIS Acting President, Sheikh MuhammadJamiu AbdulGafar and the Acting National Secretary, Sheikh Muftau Salaudeen, gave the commendation while felicitating President Tinubu and Muslims on the completion of Ramadan 1445 A.H. and the celebration of Idul Fitri.

The association equally rejoiced with the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education, Brigadier-General Lawal Ja’afar Isa (Rtd), and the management of the commission on the blessed season of the Muslim festival.

The association also extended season greetings to the Executive Secretary, Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC, Dr. Hamid Bobboyi, while giving kudos to the commission for its sustained efforts and numerous projects towards making Arabic and Islamic education in Nigeria a global model.

NAPAIS equally congratulated the Registrar/CEO of the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies, NBAIS, Professor Imam Yahuza Sulaiman, and the leadership of the board, who are specially counted worthy of warm season’s greetings on the occasion of Idul Fitri. The body prayed to Allah to accept all our supplications in the holy month of Ramadan. I’d Mubarak.

The NAPAIS Acting President and Secretary extended a message of Allah’s abundant blessings and guidance to all the executives at the federal, zonal, and state levels for their commitment to upholding the structure and organisation of the Islamic heritage.

On a final note, the National Association of Proprietors of Arabic and Islamic Schools commended parents, teachers, and students in all centres across Nigeria for their cooperation in stamping out atrocities, confirming their collaboration as very useful in making Arabic and Islamic schools worthy centres for character reformation and spiritual rebirth for national development.
