NASS LEADERSHIP: Oyo APC Chieftain, Hon Bimbo Kolade Congratulates Akpabio, Abass.
The Fiditi born Politician and former Commissioner in Oyo state, Honourable Bimbo Kolade, popularly known as ‘Irede’ has congratulated the former Minister of Niger Delta and ex-Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio on his emergence as the Senate President of the 10th National Assembly.
Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission(RMAFC) Federal Commissioner from Oyo-State, Hon. Kolade, also, extended his congratulatory message to the newly elected Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, who currently represents Kano North Senatorial District in the Red Chamber.
The Influential Chieftain of APC, Kolade in a statement issued on Tuesday, congratulated Hon. Tajudeen Abass and Hon. Benjamin Kalu on their emergence as the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives.
Kolade urged the leadership of the National Assembly to work with their colleagues and use their positions for the progress, peace, unity, growth and development of Nigeria.
He said the elections of Akpabio and Jibrin as President of the Senate and Deputy Senate President by their colleagues is an affirmation of loyalty, trust and confidence they have in the duo to steer the ship of the 10th Senate.
Irede also advocated cooperative and collaborative legislature, as well as the judiciary, and other government institutions for executive to function efficiently and for a better and united country.
