Nat’l Youth Volunteer Prog: Fatai Buhari Facilitates Nomination of 260 Youths in Oyo North.
It was another meaningful youth engagement in Oyo North Senatorial District as the Federal Lawmaker, representing the district at the Upper Chamber, Dr Buhari AbdulFatai successfully facilitated 260 slots of “National Youth Volunteer Program” of the Federal Ministry of Water Resources, for the youth of the senatorial district.
The youth whose list had been sent to the ministry by the Senator’s office during the heat of Covid 19 era last year April were drawn from the 13 Local Government Areas that made up of the district. Each local government got 20 slots.
In a message sent to the beneficiaries by the ministry, they are to resume at their respective LGA’s Secretariat for training from Monday September 6th, 202. The training stretches into the week according to the LGAs.
Meanwhile the Senator, Buhari has congratulated the beneficiaries and also admonished them to utilize the opportunity to contribute to the nation’s development.
