New Year 2026: Aleshinloye Felicitates Nigerians, Urges Unity

Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye (MDII), Federal Character Commissioner Designate, has extended warm New Year greetings to Nigerians, urging them to embrace hope, unity, and resilience as the nation steps into the New Year.
In his New Year message signed through his media office, Aleshinloye described the beginning of a new calendar year as a time for reflection, renewal, and recommitment to the shared ideals that bind Nigerians together.
“A new year signifies a fresh opportunity for healing, growth, and collective progress. Despite the trials of the past, Nigerians must never lose faith in the strength of our unity and the promise of a better tomorrow,” he said.

The former ALGON chairman encouraged citizens to look beyond differences and work together for peace, development, and national cohesion.

“Our diversity remains our greatest strength. When we choose love over division and hope over despair, we lay a solid foundation for a more prosperous and peaceful Nigeria,” Aleshinloye stated.
He further called on leaders at all levels to lead with empathy and responsibility, while appealing to Nigerians to show compassion, especially to the less privileged.
“Let this New Year inspire us to uplift one another, extend a helping hand to the vulnerable, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of our communities and our nation,” he added.
The Deputy National Chairman of NALGON Emeritus prayed for peace, economic stability, and renewed confidence in Nigeria’s future.
“I wish all Nigerians a New Year filled with hope, good health, and shared prosperity. Together, we can build the Nigeria we all desire,” Aleshinloye affirmed.
