“Nigeria 2023”: You’re A Sponsored Propagandist – TLF BoT Chair, Ganiyu Akeem Carpets VON DG, Osita Okechukwu over “Campaign of Calumny” Against Tinubu.

Chairman, Board of Trustees(BoT) of the Tinubu Legacy Forum(TLF), Alhaji Ganiyu Akeem has berated the Director General of Voice of Nigeria(VON), Mr Osita Okechukwu over a speech credited to him, in an online medium, where he asked the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu(BAT), to shelve his 2023 presidential ambition on the ground of age. Akeem described Okechukwu as a sponsored propagandist, congenital alarmist and campaigner of calumny who has nothing to say except to heat polity and smear the image of promising people.

“Your cheap blackmails and propaganda have already failed”, Akeem fumed.

This newspaper, Africano Trumpeters recalled that Asiwaju Tinubu, former Governor of Lagos State told newsmen a few days ago in Abuja that he would not turn down request by teeming Nigerians to run for presidency.

Asiwaju added that he was still consulting his friends and other critical stakeholders in the polity at the end of which he would make his intention public.

On BAT’s 2023 ambition, Akeem maintained that Asiwaju Tinubu is the best man for Nigerian presidency come 2023 and he clarified needless politics on age factor. “Without any element of sentiment, Nigerians know that Osita Okechukwu is being affected by political mediocrity. Therefore, his political perspective about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on age ground, is baseless and myopic”, he slammed.

While extolling BAT’s virtues and credentials, Akeem stated that,“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a born and great leader who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way. He is tested and trusted. He has efficiently managed the affairs of Lagos state and effectively led progressive party to victories at all levels. BAT is a detribalized Nigerian who treats men equally irrespective of their creed or colour. BAT is the best man for the presidential job comes 2023”, he reiterated.

“What is needed in a leader is not necessarily his age, but his knowledge, exposure, experience, technical know-how and his structure. The current American President, Joe Biden is old but his age is not a barrier. Americans massively voted for him and he is efficiently moving USA forwards, and such as his Predecessor, Donald Trump, he is old but effectively tried his best as POTUS, then.

“Let’s shun needless enmity and campaigns of calumny. Let’s join hands together to fix Nigeria. Let’s support the best man for the job. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the answer come 2023. Let’s go there”, Ganiyu Akeem canvassed.
