NIGERIA: Buhari Appoints Agba-Demo As Federal Board Member, SD Vanguard Hails Mr President.

President of Nigeria, Muhammad Buhari has appointed the influential politician and former council chairman in Oyo-State, Chief Olawale Ademola popularly known as Agba-demo as a governing council board member of Centre for Management Development(CMD).

A frontline socio-political organisation, SD Vanguard hailed President Buhari over the appointment of Chief Agba-Demo as CMD board member. The group also commended the leadership roles and influential efforts of the Honourable Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Dr Sunday Akin Dare, by recommending Chief Olawale to Mr President, for the appointment.

Chief Agba-Demo and other members appointment into the Board was made known on Tuesday morning through the announcement made by the Director of Information in the Federal Ministry of Budget and National Planning, Mrs Folasade Boriowo.

Reacting to the development, the sociopolitical Group Coordinator, Mr Sola Kolawole stated that,”This is another reward for commitment and dedication to duty. His Excellency, President Muhammad Buhari has appointed another competent son of the soil into the CMD governing council. We want to specially thank the Honourable Minister, Chief Sunday Dare for his leadership acumen, and for recommending Chief Ademola Olawale to the president. It is a well deserved appointment and honour. We trust, and strongly, believe he will do better on this new national assignment.

The membership of the Council of CMD consists of a representative each of the following organs: Ministry of Budget and National Planning; National Universities Commission; Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association; National Youth Service Corps; Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation; Industrial Training Fund; and, Central Bank of Nigeria.

As reliably gathered, this announcement is preparatory to the inauguration of the Governing Council members by the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, which will take place on a date to be announced soon.”
