Nigeria Has Lost A Legendary Monarch—Oyo APC Councillorship Standardbearer, Hon Afeez Bello ‘Mabinuori’ Pays Tribute to Late Olubadan
The Councillorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), from Ward 2 of Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Afeez Bello Mabinuori, has expressed condolence over the demise of the highly revered king of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Mohood Lekan Balogun, who joined his ancestor on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
In his condolence message,”With a deep heart, I received the shocking news of His Imperial Majesty’s demise. It was very sad, disheartening, and the most shocking news this year; may Almighty Allah grant Kabiesi Aljanah Firdaus.
Mabinuori continued,”I pay tribute to our royal father and leader, who dedicated his life to the service of this country. My deepest sympathy to the royal family, Olubadan-in-Council, and good people of Ibadanland.
“Nigeria will deeply miss Kabiesi’s unwavering service and respectable presence. May God provide strength to the Royal Family during this difficult time. It is so sad to miss a celebrated royal father like you.
“The way His Majesty adorably received guests in his palace is eminently commendable. He showed respect and love to me during the days we met. Kabiesi! You are a very wonderful and affable royal father; I will never forget those moments I spent with you.
