APC Chieftain, Barr Akeem Agbaje Congratulates President-elect, Tinubu, Describes Oyo People As “True Heroes of Democracy”.
Barrister Akeem Agbaje, a Gubernatorial Aspirant in the last primaries of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo-State, has congratulated the newly elected president of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his deputy, Senator Kashim Shettima over their hardfought victory.
In his congratulatory message, the legal luminary said that,”On behalf of myself, supporters and entire members of APC, in Oyo-State, I say a very big congratulations to our great leader and president-elect of the most populous black nation – Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Your Excellency,Sir! It’s a hardfought battle but your exemplary records, valued antecedents, stellar performances, while in office as Lagos state helmsman, and charismatic mode of leadership distinguished you among your co-contestants. Clearly, these afforded you the well deserved victory and we wish you successful reign.
The notable philanthropist, Agbaje continued,”Dearly, I wish Your Excellency and your Deputy, Senator Kashim Shettima itch free tenure in office. Our hope is renewed and new dawn has come.
The Scion of Agbaje Salami L’Ayeye, Barr Akeem saluted Nigerians, particularly, good people of the State and he described them as true heroes of democracy. He thanked the electorates for voting the progressive party and assured them of purposeful governance by APC government.
Barrister Akeem Agbaje, a legal luminary and illustrious son of Ibadan land, hailed from a family of many firsts; Late Dr. Anthony Saka Agbaje, the first medical doctor of Ibadan origin, Late Chief Abdul Mojeed Folarin Agbaje, the first lawyer of Ibadan Origin; and Late Hon. Justice Abdul Ganiyu Agbaje JSC, the first Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria of Ibadan origin.
Barr. Akeem is a progeny of the Legendary Agbaje Salami L’Ayeye. The Great Agbaje Salami was an earlier Ibadan billionaire, first generation Nigerian politician, influential statesman and notable philanthropist, who immensely contributed his own quota to the sociocultural, socioreligious and sociopolitical advancements.
