Nigeria’s Economy: Give President Tinubu Time to Fix Economy – Oyo APC Chieftain.
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has called on Nigerians, to give more time to the new administration to fix the economy, stressing that the President is not taking them for granted.
Agbaje urged Nigerians to give the President the needed support in order to fix the hardships in the land.
He spoke during a chat with newsmen on the planned palliative programmes and initiatives cutting across the sectors and human endeavours in the country.
Agbaje urged Nigerians to give Tinubu the benefit of the doubt, stressing that “he clearly understood the current situation”.
According to Agbaje: “What Mr President needs from Nigerians, are positive words of encouragement and support. We must give him our undivided support and be more patient with him.
“He also needs our positivity, and words of encouragement, with prayers for him to succeed with all his good and laudable intentions in terms of palliative programmes and total rebirth of the economy, which he’s always said to be the topmost on his list of priorities.”
“The President has remained a focused and sensitive person all his life, and he knows the pains and struggles Nigerians are going through.
“He will be the last person to take Nigerians for granted, especially as they pass through some discomforts over the subsidy removal.”
