OFC : Akeem Adeyemi Is God Sent – Atunbi Foundation .

A leading socio-political group in the four Local Government Areas of Oyo Metropolis committed to community development, Atunbi Foundation has lauded the exceptional performance of Prince Akeem Adeyemi popularly known as Skimmeh, Member, House of Representatives from Oyo Federal Constituency.

They described Skimmeh as a god sent agent of development and encouraged him to do more .

The commendations are contained in a press release issued by Mr. Fatoki Michael popularly known Bolmic, the Publicity Secretary and Head Officer of the forum for Afijio Local Government Are . The release was endorsed by the Coordinator, Mr. Hammed Oyekunle (Daklent) and General Secretary, Mr. Rasaq Luqman Adewale respectively.

Atunbi Foundation expressed their pleasure for the progressive drive and developmental zeal which Hon. Akeem Adeyemi has adopted to enhance both physical infrastructures and human capacity developments in Oyo metropolis.

Hon. Akeem Adeyemi who has worked tirelessly within the space of about 500 days of his second term in office as a federal law maker had facilitated various physical infrastructures to ease livelihood and build human capacity such as; Ecological control of about 7 major roads across Oyo metropolis, about 550 Women/Traders/Artisans financial empowerment, more than 100 youths trained on agriculture, about 100 Youths and women training and empowerment on fashion designing, installation of electrical transformers to about three different locations, provision of drinkable water (boreholes) to different locations , installation of ICT facilities to different schools. Skimmeh has belief in effective uses of ICT centres and that there must be ICT literate users to enhance digitalisation and technological capacity of Oyo people. More than 100 youths across the four Local Government Areas were selected to participate in an ICT training and they were empowered with brand new Hp laptop computers.

The leadership of Atunbi Foundation stated that though, they believe that it is an electoral right to benefit from elected representatives but it is also germane to appreciate and commend anyone going outside box and working beyond his constitutional duty being a law maker to facilitate good projects for his people.
