OFC: Facilitation of ICT Projects !! By Hon. Prince Akeem Adeyemi.

Our efforts towards ensuring that Oyo Federal Constituency benefits immensely from Federal Government’s ICT programmes and projects are truly yielding positive fruits.

On Monday, 19h July, 2021, right inside Atiba Hall, in the presence of the Alaafin of Oyo and the good people of the ancient City, another landmark achievement was attained: I presented two Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF) project letters to the Provosts of EMMANUEL ALAYANDE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION and FEDERAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (SPED), OYO.

These nomination letters were for the provision of ICT tools and services to enhance e-learning and promoting the connection of government tertiary institutions to broadband internet in Nigeria. The project is aimed at facilitating a digital lifestyle in tertiary institutions as well as institutions’ communities.

Earlier, some secondary schools have benefited from these laudable USPF and NCC ICT projects. Some of the schools in Oyo Federal Constituency, where ICT centres have been facilitated to are:

  1. Olivet Baptist High School
  2. Abiodun Atiba Memorial Secondary School
  3. Ansarudeen Grammar School, Opapa

Until our wishes and aspirations for the people of Oyo Federal Constituency are achieved, we shall not rest on our oars. Oyo o ni baje.

Hon. Prince Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi,
Chairman, House Committee on Communications.”
