Oke-Ogun: MHR Hopeful, Jacob ‘Funmi Ogunmola Graces “Ago-Are Muslim Community Prog”, Donates 1Million Naira(Photos).
Former Chairman of ATISBO Local Government Area of Oyo-State, Honourable Jacob ‘Funmi Ogunmola has today, Saturday, February 26, graced the “10 Million Naira Fund Raising for The Renovation of Ago-Are Central Mosque and Turbaning Ceremony Programme”, organized by The Muslim Community, Ago-Are at Muslim Foundation Model College, Along Okaka Road, Ago-Are, in Oke-Ogun, Oyo-State.
At the event, Hon. Ogunmola donated 1Million Naira, which is 10 per cent of the fund being sought for and he redeemed the promise, immediately.
The theme of the program is,” The Concept of Jihad in Islam: An Historical Perspective” and the Guest Speaker is Fadhilat Sheikh Abdur-Rafiu Oloko Badiru Zamman, Atewogba, Seyyidi 1, Lisaanul Ummah.
Member, House of Representatives(MHR) Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), come 2023, Ogunmola while speaking saluted teeming Muslim leaders and faithful at the event. He stated that,”I’m happy to stand here, today, before our eminent leaders in Islam and great statesmen across Nigeria. I congratulate the leadership of Ago-Are Muslim Community over this historical program and more power to your elbow, sirs and mas.
“I’m a detribalized Nigerian and it’s always been my joy to support any programmes or projects that advance the cause of humanity and aid progress of our society. So, once again, I greet all our leaders, spiritual and temporal, here present today and I humbly donate the sum of 1Million Naira to support the renovation of Ago-Are Central Mosque and other related matters”, he announced.
