Oke-Ogun: Our Leaders Must Develop Youth !! By Jonathan Ojedokun

Our Fathers And Mothers From Oke-ogun Need To Develop Our Youths.

“I am charging our sons, daughters, uncles and brothers, home from Oke Ogun region of Oyo State, both at home and in the diasporas, to support the development of our youths from this area of the country.

Our youths are seriously lagging behind in terms of exposure, seminars, job opportunities among others.

This was what I discovered on the recently concluded ‘National Youths Conference’, held in Abuja.

While other zones of the states, in the country, sponsored their youths for the conference, with a very comfortable bus with the name of their associations bodly written on the bus, there were none of such en- mass mobilization from our zone to the conference.

I want to appeal to our fathers and mothers in Oke Ogun to please link our well behaved youths to different programmes that can be of help to our teaming youths from Oke Ogun.

Yoruba adage says, ‘Owo to ba dile le su ma ya lo. Eyin Baba ati Iya mi,e jowo e ran wa lowo. Arise larika. Ohun gbogbo taba se loni, oro itan ni yio di lola’.

Back to the Conference, again, Honourable Minister of Youths and Sports, Mr. Sunday Dare organised the programme, in other to bring the best out of Nigerian youths, in which Oke Ogun youths are members, but unfortunately, we were collectively left out.

Above all, Oke Ogun youths need to be encouraged, assisted, helped, engaged, promoted and loved.

Thank you, sirs and mas.

‘Abo ree lati Abuja’
