Olajire’s Death: He Was A Foremost Scientist – Prof Akande Mourns, Consoles LAUTECH Community, CCII.
Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has commiserated with the Council, Management, Staff, Students and Alumni of Ladoke Akintola University,LAUTECH, Ogbomosho over the death of Professor Abass Olajire.
The NCC boss in a condolence message in Ibadan described the news of the sudden demise of the University don as shocking and very unfortunate.
“It is with heavy heart that I received the news of the sudden death of Professor Olajire who passed on last Friday.
Professor Akande lamented that the death of the erudite Professor of Chemistry was a great loss to the entire LAUTECH Community, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes,CCII and Oyo state in general.
Professor Abass was one of the foremost scientists who is globally acknowledged.
“My heartfelt condolences goes to the immediate family of the deceased on this very unfortunate death of their beloved. I pray God gives them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
“We are however consoled that the deceased lived a life of service to humanity and God. It is not how far but how well. I pray God accept his return and accept him into his bosom “, he submitted.
