Oloye ‘Sina Alabi Mourns Alhaji Lamidi Ajadi, Extols Late Philanthropist’s Virtues

Ibadan-born business magnate and influential politician Oloye ‘Sina Alabi has expressed deep sadness over the passing of Alhaji Chief Lamidi Ajadi, a revered elder statesman, devoted Muslim, and highly respected businessman whose death marks the end of an era in Ibadanland.
In his condolence message, the Chairman and Chief Executive (CEO) of Shortollab Int’l Company Ltd, Ibadan, and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Oloye Alabi, wrote: “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return). Every soul shall taste death, and we will be paid in full only on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever is kept away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has won a great triumph. ‘The life of this world is only an illusory pleasure.’ (Quran 3:185).
I’m deeply saddened by the exit of our highly respected father, Alhaji (Chief) Lamidi Ajadi. His legacy and impact will forever be remembered. May the memories of his life, legacy, and impact continue to inspire us to live our lives with purpose, compassion, and integrity.

May God Almighty comfort and strengthen his family during this difficult time. May He grant them peace, solace, and the fortitude to bear this huge loss.
Allahumo Amin.

Signed:
Oloye Sina Alabi.
