Oloye ‘Sina Alabi Pays Tribute to Amb Ibironke Adefope, Lauds Late Diplomat’s Legacies
Ibadan-born business mogul and influential politician Oloye ‘Sina Alabi has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Nigerian High Commissioner to Zambia, Ambassador Ibironke Adefope, describing her demise as a profound loss to Oyo state and the nation.
In his condolence statement released on Tuesday, the Chairman and Chief Executive (CEO) of Shortollab Int’l Company Ltd, Ibadan, and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Oloye Alabi, wrote: “I received the passing of our dear sister, Amb. Ibironke Adefope, with a rude shock. Her remarkable contributions to the educational sector and distinguished service as Nigeria’s former ambassador to Zambia will forever be etched in our memories.
Her diplomatic prowess and dedication earned her a revered place in the hearts of many. There is no doubt that her demise is a loss to Oyo State in particular and Nigeria as a whole. The void she leaves behind will be difficult to fill.
May God grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and grant her eternal rest.
