Olubadan: Olamide Olasupo Greets Ibadan Indigenes, Congratulates Monarch, Others
Honourable Olamide Olasupo (YOSAT) has congratulated the Olubadan-in-Council, Ibadan Mogajis Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes(CCII), and all Ibadan descendants at home and abroad on the installation of the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakunlehin.
“On behalf of myself, I, Olamide Olasupo (YOSAT) and the entire Olotefon family compound both in Southeast and Northeast Local Government Areas of Oyo-State, greet the entire Ibadan indigenous people both home and abroad, on the new coronation of our king
“It is also my pleasure to felicitate with the my valued father and our esteemed Kabiesi, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakunlehin, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, on his ascension to the throne of his forefathers.
“I pray for our highly revered king that His Majesty’s tenure will be prosperous for us all(Amen).
“I also felicitate and commended the Kingmakers, Ibadan chiefs, Mogajis, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) and its affiliated groups, their
respect for tradition, culture, and promotion of peace in Ibadanland can never be overemphasized.
Olasupo’s congratulatory message expressed joy that Ibadanland has sustained its age-long tradition of a rancor-free succession plan to the Olubadan throne.
“May God grant Kabiyesi long life and good health to succeed as a our emperor. Long shall you reign Your Imperial Majesty”, Olasupo prayed.
