Olubadan’s Demise: Our Late Monarch Was A Symbol of Progress – Oyo Guber Hopeful, Barr Akeem Agbaje Pays Tribute to Oba Adetunji
Legal Luminary and a leading Gubernatorial Hopeful on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo-state, come 2023, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has commiserated with his fellow sons and daughters of Ibadanland over the demise of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Ajeogunguniso-I, who joined his ancestors early today, Sunday at University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.
“I received with shock, the passage of our Exemplary Monarch, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Ajeogunguniso-I. Ina Lilai Wa Ina Ilaehi Rojihuun”, The Scion of Agbaje, Barr Akeem mourned.
“Our late monarch was an symbol of peace, progress, unity and development when he was on the throne of his forebears and the ancient city, Ibadanland greatly witnessed unprecedented advancements across all fronts”, he lauded.
“I, also, extend my condolences to the royal family and the entire sons and daughters of Ibadanland, throughout the world, Oyo state, in general and Yoruba land at large.’Aku Ara Fe Ara Ku’ Ooo”, Agbaje grieved.
“May Almighty Allah console all of us, overlook his shortcomings, repose his soul in the best Barzaku and admit him into Aljanah Firdaus as his eternal abode”, he prayed.
