Oluyole Federal Constituency: Sadipe Sets Records Straight on Olugbemi’s Statements
Hon. Tolu Akande-Sadipe, Member, House of Representatives representing Oluyole Federal Constituency has once again, set the records straight and cleared air of controversies surrounding her predecessor, Hon. Sumbo Olugbemi’s claims.
These clarifications are contained in a press release issued by one of Hon. Sadipe’s Aides, Engr Kunle Fadiran and made available to the newsmen.
The full press release reads thus ;
My attention has been drawn to the press statements released by former Hon Sumbo Olugbemi, let me set the records straight. Most in Oluyole know the protocol and procedure in facilitating a project, even a common man in our territory has facilitated many projects to improve the life of our people such as writing letters etc, but to finance and execute a project is the priority and the most difficult part. Hon. Olugbemi, As a former member of the House of Representative you know it’s an herculean task to get financial support for a project, especially now during these hard times. Especially such as now with the Pandemic crumbling even the strongest economies in the world. Ours also affected by the major decline in income generated from our Oil resources. Two factors with a negative impact across the world.
We must commend the efforts of Hon Tolulope Akande- Sadipe for the sleepless nights to make sure that all projects in 2019 budget see the light of the day even after Olugbemi diverted all that was meant to be for Oluyole to Ondo to siphon for his own selfish interest.
Hon Gbemi claims to Odo Ona Elewe -Idi Iroko – Adewolo road project is deceptive, yes it’s in the 2019 budget but is he there to bring it to fruition No.
Hon. Gbemi has no right to speak as if he cares. There are a lot of abandoned project like the primary health care at Lero in Ward 02, Primary Health Centre at Akano Olunde Ward 07, Baare Community Health Centre, Ara Oje Borehole which are not functioning and many more to mention a few. They put the structure but never completed the Boreholes to enable residents access to water.
There are also many borehole projects facilitated by Hon. Olaifa but due to the selfishness and greediness of Olugbemi who didn’t care about the people of Oluyole that would have benefited from them, He abandoned those projects and neglected thousands of letter from communities in which all these projects where domiciled.
Oluyole if in doubt, there is evidence, please take your time to come to our TASK constituency office, a place that that belongs to all of us in Oluyole, to check thousands of letters from several communities seeking assistance from Hon Mrs. for the completion of all these projects abandon for many years, then you would understand that Olugbemi has left a legacy of fraud and doesn’t have any right to claim what belongs to the people of Oluyole.
More so, Olomi -Ijebu Igbo road the project was facilitated during the 8th assembly era but abandoned after being financed and not executed Hon. Tolu has been running from pillar to post to ensure its completion
People of Oluyole you are aware that there are thousands of these kinds of project on the table of Hon. Minister of Works and Housing and many other Ministries. Hon Mrs Tolu Akande- Sadipe who has a penchant for development, in her capacity as the Rep made sure the contractors went back to work on the Olomi road and has also by the request of the Olomi general landlord / landlady association petitioned the contractors DC Engineering on the floor of the House of Representative for the poor work and time wasting on the construction in order to make the project a reality.
On the Youth Center Onila, abandoned since the time of Hon Depo in Year 2007, Hon. Tolu is working aggressively with the Minister of Youth, Minister Sunday Dare to ensure it’s completion and effective use.
Is Hon Depo going to write to the media too to say she is claiming his project. I bet he will not.
Its obvious Hon. Tolu doesn’t want history of abandonment during her era. She chose not to repeat this history that’s to the detriment of Oluyole constituency as Olugbemi did, by abandoning projects facilitated by His predecessor before he Hon. Sumbo came into office, for selfish reasons.
I implore you all to to join the support for Hon. Tolu, to enable her concentrate on the work her predecessor failed to deliver for the people of Oluyole.
Lets make Oluyole great again ,if Olugbemi had continued where his predecessor stopped, with the Informantion at our disposal, our constituency would have been far more developed.
This is the new era of competence and commitment which everyone has been praying for, lets accept it and work together to make our land a glorious land.
Development is important for a community as ours. Power is not a do or die affair lets accept the will of God. “Ilosiwaju Oluyole Ti Gbogbo Wa Ni.”
