OLUYOLE: Hon Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, Uncommon Int’l Stateswoman Who Chooses to Be in Politics to Make A Mark !! By Afeez Bello.

Politics is the way by which people living in groups, in the city make decisions. Politics is about making agreements between people so that they can live together in groups such as Tribes, Wards, Constituencies, Districts, Cities-States or Countries. In large groups which comprise so many ethnic nationalities such as regions, Countries (Continents), some people may spend a lot of their time making such agreements.

As we all know, politician is a person who is active in party politics, or a person holding or seeking an elected office in government.

Politicians propose, support, reject, and make laws that govern the land and, by extension, its people. Broadly speaking, a politician can be anyone who seeks to achieve political power, be elected into a government.

It is important to note that when we are describing an amazing stateswoman who is very proactive in grassroots, local, national, continental and international politics, to the extent that the common men and women in the street are feeling her pro-people representation, we are chorusing no other name other than a brilliant Chattered Accountant and Member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Tolulope Akande Sadipe Kafayat, whom has distinguished herself as one of the best federal lawmakers in Nigerian political history.

In her extensive pro-people and international representation, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has magnanimously dealt with human trafficking across the world and save the heads of many Nigerians, in captivity, globally.

Her emergence as the Chairman, House Committee on Diaspora remains very fruitful and productive since she has recorded so many achievements in liberating Nigerians from child and human trafficking, locally and internationally.

Some of her achievements as a respectable Chairman House Committee on Diaspora includes but they are not limited to:

Firstly, incessant campaign and war against Human Trafficking locally and globally.

Secondly, rescuing of 29 victims (girls) of human trafficking from Lebanon in July 2020.

Thirdly, support for rehabilitation of the trafficked victims through the help of National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons ( NAPTIP )

Fourthly, encouraging other stakeholders such as NGO’s, Community, Local and State Governments to play a positive roles in fight against human Trafficking in order to support NAPTIP to ensure that human trafficking victims are properly rehabilitated regardless of their sex.

Fifthly, ensuring that the victims became an ambassadors against human trafficking in order to discourage other girls and boys that there are greener pastures over there, which is too good to be true.

Meanwhile, the influence of Hon. Sadipe in liberating Nigerian Citizens (young and old) irrespective of their state of origin in modern slavery, maltreatment, inhumane conditions and the likes cannot and should not be underestimated. Since she has been recording countless achievements in fight against human trafficking, both home and abroad, and this is projecting her to the world as one of the best pro active serving Honourable Members in human history. Thus, her achievements so far as the Chairman, House Committee on Diaspora is still surpassing her predecessors till date.

Thus, as Hon. Sadipe is doing great globally, she is also deeply grassroots-rooted and hitting ground running in her Federal Constituency, Oluyole. She has built many classrooms, facilitated roads’ construction, organized vocational and empowerment programmes, supported women, assisted youth, brought many dividends of democracy and many more. Her performances at grassroots levels are so superb and please expect compendium on this any time soon. Brb.
