Operational Visit : DIG Leye Oyebade Arrives Ogun State….Sets to Restore Normalcy .
A former Commissioner of Police in Oyo State and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mr Leye Oyebade has arrived the Gateway State today . His deployment to Southwest by the Inspector General of Police, Mr Adamu, where he had held forth as State Police Commissioner in one of the states in the region, Oyo State is not unconnected with the seemingly mayhem that followed End SARS and break down of law and order which saw hoodlums looting, engaging policemen and attacking policemen in recent time.
Information gathered is that Mr Leye Oyebade has swung into action by visiting trouble spots, organising aerial helicopter patrol and engaging community and other critical stakeholders with a view to stem the mayhem in the bud.
DIG ‘Leye Oyebade, mni while paying visit to the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun during his Operational visit on the October 27, 2020, commended the efforts of Mr Governor and other stakeholders for curbing the crises and he reaffirmed the commitment Nigeria Police force to maintain law and order without infringing on people’s fundamental human rights.
