The Vice Chairman, Aare Latosa Local Council in Oyo State, Comrade Monsur Akintunde Adeyemo popularly known as Socrates has congratulated the Chairman, Association of Local Governments(ALGON) in Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye over his award as the “Most Distinguished Ibadan Indigene(MDII) to be conferred on him by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes(CCII) tomorrow, Saturday at Obafemi Awolowo(Liberty) Stadium in Ibadan.
The renown Pan African Activist, Comrade Socrates lauded Prince Aleshinloye and stated that, “The Great Greek Philosopher, Plato said, ‘In an ideal state, philosopher must be a ruler”, though, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye is not the governor of Oyo state but as Oluyole LG Boss and Oyo ALGON helmsman, he has clearly proved it that he is a philosopher-king meant by Plato. “Alesh! Our gallant chairman, congratulations, sir, on your this well deserved honour and thanks to the CCII leadership, ” Oluyole Ibadan, Amonrawa Ooo”, Adeyemo rejoiced.
