OYHA Hopeful, “Ribadu” Declares Ambition, Lauds Prince Akinremi Jagaban’s Efforts on Ibadan North Federal Constituency’s Progress.

Ahead of the upcoming All Progressives Congress(APC) primaries slated for this month, former Chairman of all Special Advisers in Oyo State and a front line House of Assembly Hopeful, from Ibadan North Constituency-II, Honourable Muyiwa Bhadmos popularly known as “Ribadu” and his supporters stormed the party’s meeting in ward 7, Ibadan North Local Government on Sunday, May 1 to officially declare his ambition at IMG Primary School, Mokola, Ibadan.

The atmosphere became energised and cheerful when women and youths in the ward welcomed the party Stalwart, Ribadu into their midst, chanting “it is our time. Go and represent us. We love you. We want you”.

In his declaration statement, Ribadu stated that “I am not the one aspiring for the seat but the whole ward 7 and the whole constituency-II, and I promise never to let you down.

While commending Prince Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, Ribadu stated that,”He The current serving federal House of representatives Member, Prince Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban has done a lot to liberate and make progress for Ibadan North Local Government from shallow representation. Jagaban has used his office to facilitate so many substantial projects to Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

He continued,”He has also used his office to facilitate life time job opportunities for the youths across this constituency and beyond. Indeed, this has helped Prince Akinremi to be in prime position in the party across the country and he has boosted the image of Ibadan North in the Political history of the country as well.

While reeling out his political credentials, Ribadu stated that,”I am a grassroots and ardent member of the party since inception from this ward under the leadership of Elder Fatoyinbo and Alhaja Tairah. I have served in various leadership capacity within the party as State Coordinator for Presidential Aspirants since 2011; Special Adviser to Ibadan North Local Government Chairman , Hon Babatunde Lapade ; Treasurer, Ibadan North Local Government. I am emboldened by the encouragement I have received from my fellow party members across the local government to seek your support towards the coming election and if the mandate is given, I promise never to let you.

In his remark, Elder Bayo Ayodeji lamented that ward 7 has never produced a State Honourable in the history of Ibadan North. He advised all the party members to work beyond ward 7 for the emergence of Ribadu as APC candidate in Ibadan North Constituency 2 since Ribadu has been doing wonderfully well to the party, through financial and other logistics supports, since inception.”Ribadu is the most qualified and competent among the aspirants, so, let’s support him”, he urged.

While reacting to Ribadu’s declaration, Mr Isiaq, an influential youth from Coca-Cola zone, commended Ribadu for expressing his aspiration to represent Ibadan North Constituency 2 in Oyo State House of Assembly come 2023. He urged all the leaders and executive members of the party in ward 7 to hit the ground running if they will sincerely support Ribadu and revealed that all the youths are ready to rally round and support Ribadu.

In attendance were Idowu Dada, Dauda Atunlute, Olayiwola Kabiru, among several other party leaders.
