Akinajo Olagoke, who represents Ibadan North East 1 in the Oyo State house of assembly, has etched his name in gold by dissociating himself from the planned impeachment of Raufu Olaniyan, Governor Seyi Makinde’s deputy, OYOINSIGHT.COM reported.

This is just as the leadership of the Asembly has regretted listing his name as one of those who plotted the impeachment move.

This is coming days after the Igboho-born retired permanent secretary ditched the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the All Progressives Congress, APC

In a letter written by the clerk of the house, Yetunde Oludara Awe, and addressed to Olaniyan, the house said that “the error in the earlier letter referenced in paragraph 1 is regretted.”

With the development, the number of those who signed the allegations against Olaniyan has been reduced to 23.

Akinajo represents one of the two constituencies in Makinde’s Ibadan North East local government.
