Oyo 2023: Community Development Circuit Chair, Otunba Alabi Ibrahim “Expresses Interest for Assembly Race”.
The Oyo State Community Development Circuit Chairman, created by late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, and the Founder of “AJ 15 Forum”, Otunba Alabi Ibrahim has expressed his interest to run for the race of Oyo State House of Assembly from Ido State Constituency come 2023.
The Founder of “Oyo State APC One Voice”, Ibrahim is a notable grassroot mobiliser and influential progressive youth leader in the state.
Otunba Alabi is also the Founder of “Ajimobi Students Movement(ASM) and the Founder of Action Youth Congress(AYC)”.
The member of “Oyo State Future Nigeria Youth”, Otunba Alabi, in his “Expression of Interest Speech”, says this:
“Let me start by establishing the fact that I came from the grassroot, so, I believe it is time to come back to my base, the grassroot and create the kind of ‘Constituency Impacts’ that have been insufficiently implemented. I see the gaps, and it’s time to bridge it.
Firstly, we need square pegs in square holes for efficient service delivery to all our constituents.
Secondly, to the men, women, and youths of Ido State Constituency, I call on you all to choose the right man to represent us in the state assembly come 2023, we do not need more of the same.
When things are done using the same process that stopped achieving results, progress becomes difficult to attain. The alternative to move us from point A to B now is OTUNBA ALABI IBRAHIM (0.T.B) – “The Merchant of Hope.”
It is time to make a choice come 2023.
A choice to partner with small businesses to do better within our Constituency- O.T.B
A choice to improve our Environment, for a sustainable future – O.T.B
A choice to empower women and promote gender equality- O.T.B
A choice to engage unemployed youths through Mentoring/Internship Programs for relevant skills acquisition -O.T.B
Let me conclude by assuring you that, I am ready to lead from behind, to be the leader that will also serve for collective progress of our Constituency and much more.
We must compliment the efforts of Governments at all strata by micro- assessing our own situation, and coming up with sustainable solutions.
