OYO 2023: Lanlehin-Led APC Reconciliation C’ttee Ill-Conceived, Dead on Arrival – Dr Adeduntan Fires.
The Osi Basorun of Ibadanland and 2023 Governorship Aspirant during the May Governorship primary election in Oyo State, Prince (Dr.) Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has maintained that the recently inaugurated reconciliation committee by the Isaac Omodewu led Oyo APC, being chaired by Senator Femi Lanlehin as ill-conceived and dead, even before arrival.
Dr Adeduntan stated this while answering questions from journalists at his Old Ife road, Ibadan residence.
He said,”the sham and fraudulent primaries was an exercise in futility, as the major actors, the National working committee of APC and other organs which were also part of the fraudulent acts are not part of the reconciliation efforts.
The Globally Renowned Cardiovascular Surgeon, Dr Adeduntan lamented that,”Oyo APC is now in the intensive care unit, ‘brain dead’ and on respirator, so, I’m calling on the NWC of APC to join LANLEHIN’s reconciliation efforts immediately, as time is no longer on its side so as to prevent it from clear and present danger of humiliating defeat in the forthcoming elections.’THE CLOUDS ARE OMINOUS’.
Adeduntan described the primary exercise in Oyo state as,”a charade, a naked dance in the market, disgrace, scam, fraud (Jagba ) which had torn the party apart in the state.
Adeduntan further said that,”it was an electoral coup d’etat and corruption of the highest order.“No single primary in Oyo state was untainted, the worst being the governorship primary, where there were doctored delegates lists, cross over voting by active PDP members, corrupt accreditation process and votes allocations for which Adeduntan is ready to unmask people behind this.
As a fact and material witness, Adeduntan challenged any holder of APC ticket to join him in a civil action suit for slander or libel and will gladly meet that person in federal court, if the assertions above are not true. I WAS THERE”. at the electoral crime scenes.”
“This is not the narrative of a sore loser, but a fact witness cleared and vetted by APC with unassailable credible evidence, as a material and witness of facts.
“The so called reconciliation exercise by the minority group initiated by Omodewu and led by Lanlehin is a barren exercise, a wild goose chase that will yield no fruits as the injustice that led to the outcome cannot be legally cured in Oyo state alone, but jointly with the NWC of the APC which was an accessory before and accessory after the acts of fraud in Oyo APC primaries.”
The international cardio vascular surgeon assured his supporters across the state to be patient and get ready for his next move soon, which shall be made public with reasonable promptness, for in the timeless words of Albert Einstein, “The world will not be destroyed by this end who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing or saying anything.”
