Oyo 2023: ‘ADEHUN’, A Paradigm Shift – Olaide Adegbite Garners Supports for Barr Akeem Agbaje.

‘ADEHUN’! Either we call it promise or pact, it is an all important change that is currently happening in the political space of Oyo-State. Good people of Oyo state are already fed up with the usual way of conservative governance and they are now fully determined to replace it with a new and purposeful leadership to be offered by Barrister Akeem Agbaje “ADEHUN”, come 2023.

Lending his voice, the immediate past Vice Chairman of Ibadan Northeast Local Government Area of Oyo-State, Honourable Saheed Olaide Adegbite popularly known as “Ora” garnered supports for a leading Gubernatorial Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo-State, come 2023, Barrister Akeem Agbaje. “Let’s support Akeem Agbaje’s new vision and direction”,he said.

While canvassing supports for the Progeny of the late Agbaje Salami L’Ayeye, Barr Akeem, the Influential grassroots Mobiliser, Adegbite stated that,”It’s my joy and pride to be associated with Barr Akeem Agbaje and our this Oyo Liberation Agenda, ‘ADEHUN Gubernatorial Project-2023’, a bold step put forward to make life more better for the good people of Oyo-State.

Hon. Ora emphasized Barr Agbaje’s blue prints, to reposition and govern the pacesetter state prosperously. Ora quoted Barr Agbaje as follows;“As our campaign mantra indicates, ‘ADEHUN’, which means promise. I’m, emphatically, saying it that it’s our promise that if the mandate is given to us, come 2023, I and my team, will make life more better for the indigenes and residents of this great state, irrespective of their region or religion, creed or colour”,he affirmed.

In Agbaje’s words,“As we’ve severally reiterated it, If voted into power, our government will strongly focus on youth and women development. Women empowerment is sacrosanct because women are the bedrocks of the family, by extension, society and the nation at large.

“We’ll provide a robust security coverage across the state. And as we all know, our state is in sorry state when it comes to the issues of security and other key elements of a good governance.

Agbaje continued,“Also, we’ll definitely ensure good and affordable transportation system, which is long overdue in the state. Our government will make it a matter of priority. Furthermore, it’s part of our programmes to make electricity available to all citizens of Oyo State. Adequate power supply will definitely boost business activities, industrialization and productivity, in this great pacesetter state.

Adegbite showered encomia on Barr. Agbaje and described him as a core party man and lover of people who has tremendously proved that at any slight opportunity, by supporting the party and helping people.

Adegbite furthered his speech,”Indeed, Barr Agbaje is a core party man. People are not only hearing his good deeds, across the board, but they’re also seeing and feeling it. He has sponsored people’s educational programmes. He has given financial supports to traders. He has empowered youth. He has supported women. He has rendered medical assistance to the aged, and among others. All his previous activities have proved him to APC members and good people of Oyo-State as a man of the people and it has convinced them to key into his ‘ADEHUN-2023 Guber Project’. Yes, they’ve overwhelmingly assured him to follow him to Government House as people’s governor -elect come 2023″.

While addressing people, at a forum, the illustrious Son of Ibadan Land, Agbaje has said that it is God Almighty using him to do what he has been doing to support the party faithful and help the masses. “I’m a man of my words and I mean it that all what people have seen are just tip of an iceberg. I promise to do more than that and serve the state, efficiently and piously, if the mandate is given, come 2023”,he said.

Barr. Akeem is a progeny of the Legendary Agbaje Salami L’Ayeye. The Great Agbaje Salami was an earlier Ibadan billionaire, first generation Nigerian politician, influential statesman and notable philanthropist who had immensely contributed his quota to the sociocultural, socioreligious and sociopolitical advancements and progress of Ibadan Land and its environs.
