Oyo 2023: Makinde Loses Ex-Atiba LG Boss, Supporters To APC.
A former caretaker chairman of Atiba local government, Honourable Ibrahim Akinkunmi has led hundreds of members of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives, APC, OYOINSIGHT.COM reported.
Akinkunmi who was the PDP House Assembly Candidate in 2019 general elections attended the meeting of the APC on Sunday in Oyo town.
He was welcomed by Hon. Prince Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi, Rt. Hon. Asimiyu Alarape, Hon. Ademola Adelowo (Atiba APC Chairman) Alhaji Tajudeen Olanite (Secretary APC Oyo State), other Party Leaders, excos and members.
With his defection, the chances of the All Progressives Congress, APC to win the 2023 general elections have been boosted.
