Oyo 2023: Tolulope Hammed Folorunso “Mido” Expresses Intention to Run “Assembly Race.
Ahead of the 2023 General Election, Ibadan-born young business tycoon, Tolulope Folorunsho Hammed popularly known as Mido, has declared his intention to represent the people of Ibadan South East-II, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, at the Oyo State House of Assembly.
Mido, the Ladoke Akintola University Of Technology alumnus, said he was aware that his people need socio-economic advancement which necessitated his intention to contest for the race of the state House of Assembly come 2023.
“We are lacking good water and good electricity, I want to assure my people that if I am given the mandate to lead them, I will ensure they have access to good water and good electricity because these are basic needs we must have in the society .”
He added that he was aware of the fact that many people see Ibadan South East as a place of violence and thuggery but if people like him could come out of the constituency with good educational backgrounds, then he was convinced that he is a good example and a reliable servant leader that can be trusted with position of authority.
Hammed reiterated his determination to change the lives of the people, most especially, the youths in the constituency.
“I know to change the attitude of the people is in God’s hand but we will do everything to help in the development of our people. Youths will be engaged with so many creative activities and we will do everything to involve women, as well as children, in our decision making.
“We have already had many things in place without having any political office and we will do more If we are given the mandate to represent our people.
He lauded leadership of his party, in the state, under the watch of Chief Akin-Oke.
Mido maintained that his party, the All Progressives Congress is behind him to achieving his dream to represent his constituency at the the State House of Assembly come 2023.
