Oyo: After Reportage, Makinde Feels Jolted, Attends Deputy’s Daughter’s Wedding, Snubs Mulikat, Gbolarumi, Others.
Jolted by OYOINSIGHT.COM’s exposing reportage, which was also reported by this Newspaper, Africano Trumpeters and other online platforms, about his plan to absent himself from his deputy’s daughter’s wedding, Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, attended the ceremony.
Makinde, who arrived around 3:40 with his wife and made his exit at exactly 4:08 pm, snubbed Mulikat Akande Adeola, Gbolarumi Hazeem, Michael Okunlade and other Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who have expressed displeasure with the way he has been running the affairs of the state, OYOINSIGHT.COM reported.
The medium observed that the governor was exchanging pleasantries with some dignitaries when he crossed to the other side after sighting the duo.
Former governor Rashidi Ladoja, had asked Makinde to take up his role as chairman, to make him stay longer. The governor, after counseling the couple, said he was just an acting chairman. He left shortly after making a brief remark.
He had earlier stumbled on Femi Babalola but couldn’t but greet him before proceeding to the high table.
