Oyo APC : Adeniyi Okunade Begins Journey to Become Party’s “Physically Challenged Leader”, Unveils Progs.
A front line Physically Challenged People’s Rights Campaigner and Grassroots Politician from Ward 06 of Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo-State, Hon. Adeniyi Okunade popularly known as “Neyoo” has expressed his intention to become the next physically challenged people’s leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in the state.
According to Adeniyi Okunade Campaign Organization’s Directorate of Information and Communication,”Our Renown Special People’s Rights Activist and Grassroots Mobilizer, Mr Adeniyi Okunade is tested and trusted. He has overwhelming experience in handling the matters of physically challenged people. Also, he is an influential canvasser and known bridge-builder.
“Okunade is a young stalwart and a core party man with good human relations. He knows his onions and how to hit the ground running for the betterment of the disabled and generality of the party”, the Campaign Organization maintained.
“Beyond Rhetorics! Let’s Support Adeniyi Okunade As Oyo-State APC physically challenged people’s leader. Indeed, a new dawn, for the special people, has come in Oyo APC. Taking action, getting results”, they reiterated.
The Campaign Organization statement further reads,”People, people and people(3P’s) are our identities. Others have wishes but Adeniyi has passion, to serve the physically challenged, party and humanity in general, progressively.
“Adeniyi is the best man for the job. He will definitely make Oyo APC physically challenged people proud and the party great, at all levels of our great party. Together, we can. Let’s support him, he will definitely make us great”, they affirmed.
While quoting Adeniyi Okunade, the campaign organization revealed that,”My main mission is to bring all the disabled men, women and young ones together and give them senses of belonging, so that they can be useful to themselves, our this great party and community at large. And, also, it is to give them more supports to bring out the spirits and qualities of their special areas and ideas.
“Also, it is to facilitate empowerment programmes from the office holders, bigwigs and supporters of our great Party, APC, for the disabled due to the experience and relationship I have had with many stalwarts and chieftains of our this great party. So, help me God”.
In his pacts with the physically challenged people and Oyo APC, Okunade revealed that he, also, has a program called “Social Security for the Disabled(SSD”.
Provenance: Adeniyi Okunade is an illustrious son of Ibadan Land from Molade Adabale, Ward 06 of Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo-State.
Educational Background: Young Adeniyi Okunade attended Army Children School 3, Iwo Road, Ibadan for his primary school education and Oba Akinyele Memorial High School, Bashorun, Ibadan for his Secondary School Education.
As a lover of education, Okunade did not stop after completing his secondary school education. He proceeded to the Prestigious University of Benin(UNIBEN) to study mathematics and economics. Presently, he is a student of National Open University(NOUN) studying cooperative management.
Political credentials: Okunade started his political career in 1998. He is a pioneer member of the Alliance for Democracy(AD), Action Congress(AC), Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN) and presently, All Progressives Congress(APC). When it comes to partisan politics, Okunade is a core progressive and loyal party man.
Offices previously held: 2007 to 2011-Ward 06 Ex-officio. 2011 to 2015- Ward 06 Vice-Chairman. 2015 to 2019- Special Candidate(Disabled Leader) among others.
