Oyo APC: ASHAD Congratulates Alhaji Olayide Abas, Urges Support for New Chairman

Hon. Adebola Shakirat Adetunji ASHAD has congratulated Alhaji Moshood Olayide Abas on his assumption as the acting chairman of APC in Oyo State.

Alh. Moshood Olayide Abas, a deputy state chairman for Oyo APC, was announced as the acting state chairman following the burial of the late state party chairman, Hon. Isaac Omodewu.

The late Oyo APC chairman died last month after a brief illness in the United States of America and was buried at the headquarters of the Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State on Friday.

Hon. ASHAD, while congratulating the new acting state chairman on his new role, said she does not doubt the ability and capability of Alhaji Abas. She urged all party leaders and members to support the Ibarapa-born progressive. ”I congratulate our party leader, Alh. Moshood Olayide Abas, in his new position as acting state chairman of our party in the state; no doubt a core progressive like him deserved to take such a leading role in the party.

“Alhaji Abas is well known for being a party man; he has worked tirelessly with other party leaders and members for APC; his emergence is a plus and path to progress for Oyo APC,” Hon. ASHAD said. She also called for support from all relevant party platforms, leaders, stakeholders, and members to enable Alhaji Abas and his executives to bring the APC in the state to a formidable and winning path that will bring back the confidence of all party members and stakeholders.

ASHAD prayed to God Almighty to continue to strengthen and give Alhaji Abas Solomonic wisdom to pilot the affairs of Oyo APC.
