Oyo APC Chieftain, Barr Akeem Agbaje Celebrates ‘May Day’, Greets Oyo-State Workers.

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo-State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has paid unalloyed homage to Oyo State workers, and Nigerian workers, in general, on the occasion of this year Workers’ Day celebration, popularly known as ‘May Day’.

In his 2023 International Labour Day’s celebration message, Agbaje stated,“A single machine can perform the tasks of fifty ordinary individuals. No computer can do the labour of a single exceptional individual….Workers are a nation’s invisible backbone, as it is only because of them that the state, and nation, can stand strong”, he hailed. 

Agbaje furthered,”All wealth is the result of hard work. I wish everyone have a happy and profitable ‘May Day’ with their loved ones! Happy International Workers’ Day”.

Agbaje saluted all Oyo state workers, Nigerian workers at large, for their sacrifice and resilience , noting that workers, across the nation, form the central bedrocks on which the building blocks of Nigeria’s national development are laid.

Akeem Agbaje, whose one of his focal points of leadership is improved workers’ welfare, reiterated his commitment to ensuring that Nigerian workers’ well being is prioritized at every stratum of the government, in the country.

The legal luminary and Scion of Agbaje Salami L’Ayeye wished all Nigerian workers a joyful and successful ‘Labour Day’ celebration.

Annually, on May 1, world celebrates International Labour Day which is also known as International Workers’ Day.
