Oyo APC Chieftainess, Hon Shakirat Adetunji Pays Glowing Tribute to Late Chief Koleosho

Honourable Shakirat Adebola Adetunji, a chieftainess of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleoso, describing him as a unique personality who achieved immense success in various spheres of life and died a fulfilled man.
In a condolence message issued on Tuesday, Hon. Adetunji praised Chief Koleosho’s remarkable virtues of courage, hard work, and selflessness, urging the younger generation to learn from his exemplary life.
Chief Koleosho, who passed away on Monday at the age of 86, was a renowned politician and statesman who served in various capacities, including Commissioner, pioneer chairman of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Oyo-State, Secretary to the State Government, and national chairman of the AD.
The business tycoon, Hon. Adetunji highlighted Chief Koleosho’s significant contributions to the return of democracy in Nigeria in 1999 as a chieftain of Afenifere, the Pan Yoruba socio-cultural group. She also noted his instrumental role in the emergence of late Alhaji Lam Adesina as governor of Oyo State and his meritorious service as Secretary to the State Government.
“Chief Koleosho was a rare breed personality who worked hard to achieve his set goals in business, politics, and other endeavours,” Hon. Adetunji said. “His legacy will continue to inspire and motivate future generations.”
