Oyo APC Congress: Promoting The Participation Of People With Disabilities In The Polity !! By Physically Challenged Leader(Hopeful), Okunade Adeniyi.

The United Nations(UN) has proclaimed 2005 as the International Year of Sport and Physical Education, a year to accelerate action towards ensuring that everyone, regardless of gender, race or ability, has the opportunity to enjoy quality participation in physical activity and sport.

The 1993 United Nations’ Standard Rules on the Equalization of Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities declares that member states should take measures to ensure that persons with disabilities have equal opportunities for recreation and other activities.

The human spirit is one of ability, perseverance and courage that no disability can steal away. One of our favorite ways to ignite this passion and jumpstart a happier and healthier lifestyle is by doing what is best for a man.

“The measure of a man, or woman, is not so much what they have accomplished, though that has weight. It often is much more though what that man or woman has overcome to accomplish what they have.” ― Leif Gregersen, Through The Withering Storm

“I do not have a disability, I have a gift! Others may see it as a disability, but I see it as a challenge. This challenge is a gift because I have to become stronger to get around it, and smarter to figure out how to use it; others should be so lucky.” ― Shane E. Bryan

“I am Okunade Adeniyi

“I, also, intend, if the mandate is given, to bring together the disabled men, women and young ones, and create hope for them likewise the viable platform to operate, so as to be more useful to ourselves, party and state at large.
It’s time for us and the time is now.
I Am Okunade Adeniyi.”
