Oyo APC: Executives Convey Emergency Meeting, Pass “Vote of Confidence” on Akin-Oke.

The Executive Members of the All Progressives Congress(APC) has conveyed an emergency meeting and passed “vote of confidence” on Chief Akin-Oke, chairman of the party, in Oyo-State.

This is contained is release which goes thus;”COMMUNIQUÉ ISSUED AT THE END OF EMERGENCY MEETING HELD ON 22/11/2021 AT THE PARTY SECRETARIAT OKE-ADO BY THE EXECUTIVE MEMBERS OF THE PARTY (APC), IN OYO STATE.

After extensive deliberation on the crisis rocking the APC party in Oyo State, the executives believe strongly in the person of our Chairman, Chief Akin-Oke and
vote of confidence is hereby passed on him, and we urge him to continue running the affairs of the party pending the time the new excos will be inaugurated.

The executive members of APC in Oyo state condemn in its entirety the barbaric behavior of Alh. Hon. Mojeed Adekunle Olaoya (party secretary) to the chairman at the Abuja meeting of APC dated 4th of November 2021.

He was also on social media wrongly accused the chairman of being fraudulent. The entire exco hereby call on the secretary to apologize in writing to both
Chief Akin Oke and the party.

Finally, the house resolved that Baba Oke is trustworthy, efficient, hardworking, creative, prudent and with proven integrity, once again we have confidence in him.
