Oyo APC Group Felicitates With Christians, Fosters Unity, Peace, Progress Among Nigerians

The All Progressives Congress Communication and Strategy Front in Oyo State, Oyo APC-CSF, under the helmsmanship of Hon. Lekan Afuye has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year Easter celebration. The group fostered unity, peace and progress among Nigerians irrespective of the citizens’ preferences and leanings.

The group, also, urged the Christians in Oyo State and the world at large to take a good lesson from the death of Lord Jesus Christ and His resurrection.

While speaking, the Coordinator of Oyo APC-CSF, Mr De Gold Lanrewaju likened the resurrection of Jesus Christ with the hope of Oyo APC in the state comes 2023. He enjoined all the party faithful and leaders to form a formidable front and camaraderie to record resounding victory across the board.

While commenting, the Media Coordinator of the Group, Hon. Olawale Sadare saluted the courage and tenacity of the party’s stalwarts. He prayed that may everybody be alive to witness the growth of the state in the hands of their party, APC.

Easter is a special annual festival for the followers of Christianity, symbolising hope, renewal and growth. It is the celebration of the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion.

Unlike Christmas, the festival of Easter is not celebrated on the same day every year, it is called a moveable feast. This day falls on the first Sunday following the first full moon on or after March 21st and as late as April 11. This year, the day falls on April 4th.
