Oyo APC: Ibadan NW Leaders Are Perfect Examples of “Pacesetter” Leaders – Adebayo Adams Lauds.
Former Acting Chairman of Councillors’ Forum in Oyo-State, Hon. Yusuf Adebayo Adams has described the leadership of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ibadan Northwest Local Government Area(LGA) of Oyo-State as “pace- setter” leaders that all leaders should emulate their leadership styles when it comes to proper accountability and transparency.
The successful Agropreneur, Adams stated this while responding to the “commendation” letter issued to him, by the leadership of the party in the local government, for his moral, physical and financial supports towards the success of the nationwide registration exercise of the party in the local government.
“Ibadan Northwest leaders are perfect examples of ‘pacesetter’ leaders that other leaders need to emulate their styles of leadership when it comes to proper accountability”, he extolled.
” I received a call from one of my leaders that I have a letter with him and I told him that I will come for it over the weekend. On getting to Alhaji Dotun Laoye, he delivered a ‘commendation’ letter to me, which came to me as a huge surprise”, the renowned Grassroot Mobiliser, Adams revealed.
“Deep down inside me, I think that the leadership doesn’t need to thank us that we, party stalwarts, are faithful, loyal and committed to the welfare and progress of the party.
“Surprisingly, I saw another page attached to the letter where the leadership of the party gave concise and detailed accounts of the money received from the party faithful”, the Media Enthusiast, Adams stated.
“In Ibadan Northwest, here are the assemblage of charismatic leaders who are highly industrious”, he lauded.
“Reading through the letter, I’m ecstatic with the level of transparency, accountability and stewardship accounts given by the APC Ibadan Northwest leaders and I want to implore other leaders to emulate this wonderful pattern”, he reiterated.
“Transparency gives birth to trust which is an utmost key to evolve our nascent democracy and I’m bold to say it loud and clear that the leadership of Ibadan Northwest are pathfinders when it comes to giving proper stewardship account”, the Influential Youth Advocate in the state, Adams reaffirmed.
“They analysed and demonstrated flows of income and what they expended. This is highly impressive and the last paragraph of the letter shows the real quality of leaders we have in Ibadan Northwest.
“They have demonstrated quality and charismatic leadership direction that all followers will benefit and enjoy from. Indeed, they are exceptional and pacesetting”, Adams praised.
“I salute their uniqueness and I pray that comes 2023, may our party, APC record landslide victory across the board”, the 2023 Aspirant to Oyo-State House of Assembly, Adams concluded.
