Oyo APC Membership Registration: Monitoring C’ttee Meets Stakeholders in Ibadan, Expresses Confidence.

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Membership Registration and Revalidation Exercise, Hon Abubakar Bawa Bwari has expressed delight over the exhibition of unity and oneness by all stakeholders in Oyo State describing it as a testimony to the fact that the party was ready to reclaim power in 2023.

Hon Bwari made this disclosure on Tuesday in Ibadan while addressing an all inclusive stakeholders meeting of the party as part of the mandate of the committee to ensure a hitch free Membership Registration and Revalidation exercise in the state.

According to him, ”the job of our Committee has been made easier with the resolve of all stakeholders to work together as one. What we are witnessing today is an indication that the party is one in the state. The step to reclaim power in Oyo state has begun with the unity of purpose being displayed by all stakeholders of the party.”

The Chairman said the success of the assignment given to his committee would be largely determined by all the stakeholders at the meeting. He then requested for maximum cooperation and support from all stakeholders of the party in the state for the exercise.

Hon. Bwari, who was flanked by six other members of the committee, explained that the essence of the exercise was to carry all segments of the society along in the registration exercise. “No one should be left behind in this exercise. The motive is for us to give opportunities to every Nigerian.” He stated.

Earlier in his Opening remark, the party caretaker chairman in Oyo state, Chief Akin Oke, assured the committee members of the support and cooperation of the party.
He urged all members to eschew suspicion as the party in the state has become one big family.

In attendance at the meeting were former governor of the state, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, Sen. Teslim Folarin, Sen. AbdulFatai Buhari, Sen. Olufemi Lanlehin, Hon. Segun Odebunmi, Hon. Shina Abiola-Peller, Hon. Tolulope Akande-Shadipe, Hon. Olaide Akinremi, Barr. Adebayo Shittu, Prof. Adeolu Akande, Prof. Taoheed Adedoja, Alh. Olalekan Alli, Hon. Zacch Adedeji, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Hon. Wasiu Sadare, Hon. Fatai Adesokan among others.
