Oyo APC Outer City Zonal Stakeholders Endorse Tinubu for Second Term, Salute State Leaders over Reconciliation Drive

The stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the outer city zone of Ibadanland in Oyo state have attributed the reign of peace and unity within the party to the responsible leadership style of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the commitment of all party leaders in the state, even as they pledged to facilitate the sustenance of the spirit of togetherness and solidarity in the broom party.
The Zone’s quarterly stakeholders’ meeting was held on Wednesday at the New Ife Road Secretariat of the APC in Egbeda local government, while those in attendance included party leaders and chieftains drawn from across Akinyele, Egbeda, Ido, Lagelu, Oluyole and Ona-Ara local government councils in the zone.
In a communique issued at the meeting and jointly signed by Alhaji Kamorudeen Ajisafe JP (Chairman) and Bashorun Billy Ogundele (Secretary), the stakeholders used the opportunity of the gathering to announce their support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027, “as only his return for a second term would guarantee full realisation of his Renewed Hope Agenda, which is aimed at placing Nigeria in its rightful place of pride among the comity of developed nations.”

The communique also stated that the current gale of defections of political players into the APC did not indicate that Nigeria was heading towards a one-party state but was a pointer to the fact that President Tinubu’s performance in office in the last 30 months was “satisfactory”, as there could not have been a better alternative from any of the defeated candidates of other political parties. Those PDP governors who recently cross-carpeted to the APC want to be counted as major contributors to the new stable and prosperous Nigeria.

“As more patriots join the APC, we appreciate the idea of electronic registration of members, which is being organised by the national leadership of the APC, while we urge existing and new members of our great party in Oyo state to ensure the success of the exercise by mobilising those who are eligible to be members of the party and encouraging them to register accordingly before the January 30, 2026 deadline.
