Oyo APC Peace Advocates commends Ajimobi, Folarin, Adelabu, Adeseun, Ibikunle, others over ongoing effort on party’s cohesion

Oyo APC Peace Advocates has commended Oloye Teslim Folarin, Her Excellency, Chief (Dr) Florence Ajimobi, Senator Ayo Adeseun, Honourable Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu and Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle over their ongoing efforts geared towards fostering the party’s cohesion.

The Oyo APC Peace Advocates lauded a recent reconciliation move within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, describing Senator Teslim Folarin’s visit to the residence of the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, as a significant step toward rebuilding the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to the group, the visit serves as a reminder to party stakeholders that leadership requires rising above personal interests, letting go of past grievances, and prioritising the collective progress of the APC.

Speaking through its convener, Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM), the Peace Advocates said Senator Folarin’s gesture reflects genuine commitment to unifying the party’s diverse tendencies.

Adeyoju noted that such moves are essential for positioning the APC to regain strength and electoral relevance in Oyo State.
Peace Advocates also commended both Folarin and Adelabu for demonstrating readiness to work together in the interest of the party.
They further praised the former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, for her continued efforts and interventions aimed at fostering unity and cooperation among APC leaders.
The Peace Advocates emphasised that sustained collaboration among key figures remains crucial for stabilising the party and preparing for future political contests.
