Oyo APC Peace Advocates Convener Niran Adeyoju Joins Adelabu, Alli, Akintunde, Others for Iftar at Gov Ajimobi’s Residence

In a move signalling a deepening commitment to party cohesion, the Oyo APC Peace Advocates convener, Prince Niran Adeyoju, popularly known as SDM, has joined other eminent personalities in the APC to converge on the Oluyole residence of the former First Lady of Oyo State and wife of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Chief (Dr) Florence Ajimobi, to break the Ramadan fast.

The Iftar session, held over the weekend, served as both a spiritual observance and a high-level collaboration aimed at fortifying the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.

Speaking to journalists shortly after the gathering, Prince Niran Adeyoju emphasised that the visit was rooted in the group’s mission to foster peace and reconciliation within the party.

Adeyoju lauded Dr Ajimobi for her “motherly role” and her steadfastness in upholding the legacy of her late husband, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

“Our presence here today transcends just breaking fast,” Adeyoju stated.

“It is a symbolic step toward a more united front. To reclaim Oyo State, we must harmonise our interests and approach the future as one indivisible family.”

Key highlights of the gathering include strategic dialogue and legacy preservation as well as welfare and inclusion, ensuring that grassroots members feel the impact of the party’s leadership.

Hosting the delegation, Dr Florence Ajimobi expressed her gratitude for the visit, noting that Ramadan is a period of reflection, forgiveness, and renewed brotherhood.

Ajimobi urged the peace advocates to remain committed to their quest, stressing that “sacrifice and genuine love for the party” are the only ways to achieve lasting success.

Present at the breaking of fast are former deputy governors Moses Alake and Rauf Olaniyan and Chief Iyiola Oladokun.

Others were minister of power Adebayo Adelabu, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, Senator Yunus Akintunde, Chief Akin Oke, ex-Oyo assembly speaker Asimiyu Alarape, Hon. Olawumi Oladeji, Barrister Obisesan and other prominent personalities.
