The Convener of Oyo APC Peace Advocates, Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM), has received the newly inaugurated Oyo State Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Dr (Mrs) Adekemi Opatunde, alongside other women leaders from across the three senatorial districts of the state during a courtesy visit.
The visit, which took place in Ibadan, brought together prominent women stakeholders within the party, who commended Adeyoju for his consistent support for women’s inclusion and grassroots mobilisation.
In recognition of his contributions to the growth and unity of the party, Prince Adeyoju was conferred with the honorary title of Patron of APC Women in Oyo State.

Speaking during the engagement, Adeyoju expressed deep appreciation for the honour, describing it as a call to greater service and responsibility toward advancing the cause of women within the party.

“I am truly humbled by this recognition. I assure you of my total support for Oyo APC women and all programmes aimed at strengthening their participation and leadership within our great party,” he stated.
The APC chieftain emphasised the critical role women play in political development, noting that their active involvement remains key to the party’s success at all levels.
Adeyoju also used the occasion to highlight the journey of Oyo APC Peace Advocates, stressing the group’s unwavering commitment to sustaining peace, unity, cohesion, and transparency within the party structure.
