Oyo APC: Progressive Parliamentarians Visit Akin-Oke, Laud His Leadership, Support Party’s Activities.

Oyo-State Progressive Parliamentarians, a forum which comprises of all state house of assembly parliamentarians, from progressive fold, since 1991 till date, have visited Oke-Ado secretariat of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in the state, to commend the leadership of the state party Caretaker Chairman, Chief Akin Oke on the successful registration exercise, ongoing reconciliation activities and for setting the state chapter of the party, APC, on the path of victory, come 2023.

This is made known to the journalists, after the meeting, by former Deputy Chief Whip of Oyo-State House of Assembly, and Public Relations Officer(PRO) of the Forum, Hon. Olaleru John Adebayo.

“Sir, we are here today, to commend Your charismatic mode of leadership. Our father, Chief Akin Oke, kudos to you on the successful registration exercise of APC in the state. Also, we salute your efforts on fruitful ongoing reconciliation activities and thanks, sir, for setting Oyo APC,
on the path of victory, come 2023. Conclusively, we are here to support the party’s progress”, the Forum’s Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Bolomope said.

“Oyo-State Progressive Parliamentarians” is a stakeholders organisation and body formed to prioritise the progressive party agenda and give back to the party that they have previously benefitted from, as elected office-holders.

While responding, Chief Akin-Oke maintained that, “Whoever that had been previously elected on the platform of the progressive party is no more a mere member but relevant leader who has roles and responsibilities in the party. And you are, all, here today to play such roles, thank you all.

Oke assured the Forum’s leadership that the party executives, under his watch, will deliver their message to the party membership registration committee and charged them to encourage all and sundry to go back to their respective wards and mobilise people en-mass for the forthcoming party’s congress.

In attendance were State Party Secretary, Hon. Mojeed Olaoya, Oyo North Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Razak Arikewuyo, Oyo South Senatorial Chairman, Prince Adekanye and Organising Secretary, Hon. Lamolo.

Other parliamentarians in attendance were Forum’s Secretary, Hon. Alli Akinola Sikiru, Hon(Mrs) Okemakinde Ramata from Ibarapa, Hon. Oyatoku from Afijio, and Hon. Yisau Azeez from Oorelope.
